S.L.O.B Character- What I Did This Weekend

Walking with Rosaleen looking for a place to stay for the night. That night wasnt really cold, Rosaleen and i decided to stay near this river type place. We bathed in the river, and slept under the trees. Me and Rosaleen has gotten mad at eachother for some reason, but then we had gotten over it after a while. We began to talk like if nothing had happened.

The next morning came, it was a sunny day. We were worried about where we were going to stay that night. We talked about how we were going to survive this with out knowing anyone. I thought we should do something to keep our minds out of it. We thought and though until saw little kids playing ball in their front yard.

We approuched the little kids playing, when we got to them the kids stopped playing at just starred at us like if they were thinking "what do you guys want". I asked can we play with you guys? They looked at eachother thinking about their answer, after those silent 30 seconds they said sure. We played for a good time then after a while we were at the big pink house.

The Locker Problem

The pattern is 1 open, 2 shut, 1 open, 4 shut, 1 open, 6 shut...etc
All numbers with a perfect square are open which is like 10 can go into 100 10 times, so like a square root, and a number that can be multiplied by itself to get a number.

Any other numbers are shut.
there are 31 perfect squares from 1-1000
which is like the example of a perfect square.

There are 969 lockers shut and 31 open because there are only 31 perfect squares and those were the ones that were going to be open so 1000-31=969 so then 969 lockers are going to be closed. 16, 81, and 625, are the doors that were only touched 5 times.

"The locker problem"

• Suppose the first student goes along the row and opens every locker.
• The second student then goes along and shuts every other locker beginning with locker number 2.
• The third student changes the state of every third locker beginning with locker number 3. (If the locker is open the student shuts it, and if the locker is closed the student opens it.)
• The fourth student changes the state of every fourth locker beginning with number 4

I am going to make a small example using

4 students and 20 lockers.

I followed the steps on the locker problem,

so i started off with all of the lockers closed and did what it said i had to do.

My Fictional Hero :)

My fictional hero is batman. The reason why he's my hero is because he saves people and he saved Gotham city. He would fight the bad people and help the good people. He is a man of muscle and gadgets, no super powers. Another reason why he is my hero is because hes a normal guy that saves people. So hes a guy doing good.:)

What is Math? What is Physics?

-To me math is what I was always learning at school, the usual division, mulitiplication, subtraction, addition, and fractions. I guess "math" was meant for elementary, now its physics.

To me physics is a more advanced version of math. Now that I'm in high school this is what I will be learning instead of math.

What "MYSICS" means to me is something really important that I will need in the future. It's something that I will have to apply in my everyday life.

Some examples of how I could be using math everyday is...

• when you go shopping and you only have a certain amount of money to spend.


• when you have to share something and divide into certain amount of pieces .
